		<description>Don't know why, I have same prob.  I will sometimes use a smaller needles, like if I'm making a top-down seamless cardigan; there are no purl on the sleeves, so I use double points and 2 of one size, 3 of one size smaller, usually gets me the same gauge as the rest of the sweater where I was knitting and purling.  Wow, does that make sense or was it just garble :-)</description>

actually, I've been giving my Addis a rest lately and have turned to bryspun pearls- or something close to that name.  They have the most amazing gradual points.  The yarn just magically slides onto them.</description>
